The computer fans were spinning and that is when I went into the console to look at the logs.Įvery second it was producing the following text in the log, which explains part of the reason why the computer was working so hard: The notification pane went missing, the app store wouldn't launch. As usual it helped me get back into OS X (I have a saved pdf report from this that may actually tell me what it did with files/directory rebuilding) but from this point is where several things changed on me. I manually shut it down after several minutes of it not going anywhere, put in DiskWarrior to see if it would help recover the system. The machine stuck on the white screen at bootup. Then my computer decided to reboot, showing a system screen stating that there was a problem and at any moment it was going to reboot (not exact words but a common screen). After a minute or so of watching the video, the playback started to play frame by frame. Late Sunday I had used Safari to load up a link that contained a flash video on IGN.com (as I keep flash shut off by default in Firefox due to constant discovery of security vulnerabilities).
My macbook pro (early 2011 model) is using 10.9.5. I am currently experiencing several bizarre issues that have created an unusable machine.
